Privacy Policy

When you create an account and use Sage & Seed, we store the following:

• Your profile information — name, avatar, star sign, wake and bed time, and notification preferences
• Your daily intentions — the intention you set each day
• Your journal entries — everything you write in the Field Journal and midday pulse checks
• Your ritual activity — the rituals and breathwork sessions you complete
• Your garden state — your streak, tended days, and any unlocked garden elements

We do not collect your location. We do not collect payment information. We do not run ads.

Your data is stored in a secured database with Row Level Security enabled. This means your journal entries, intentions, and activity are only accessible to you. Not other users. Not Sage & Seed staff. Each record is cryptographically tied to your account and cannot be read by anyone else.

All data is transmitted over HTTPS, meaning everything that travels between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit.

You. Only you.

Sage & Seed does not read your journal entries. We do not analyze your personal writing beyond what the app does on your behalf in the moment — and that analysis is never stored or reviewed by a human.

When you save a journal entry, the app uses an AI model to analyze the emotional tone of your writing and suggest an intention. This analysis happens in real time and is not stored separately or reviewed by anyone. Your words stay yours.

Sage & Seed uses the following third party services to function:

• Supabase — for secure database storage
• OpenAI or Anthropic or Gemini — for AI journal analysis
• Lovable — the platform the app was built on

Each of these services maintains their own privacy and security standards. We only share the minimum data necessary for the app to function and we do not sell your data to any third party under any circumstances.

You have the right to:

• Access your data at any time through the app
• Delete your account and all associated data at any time through the settings page
• Ask us questions about your data by reaching out directly

Your data is stored for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all of your data — journal entries, intentions, rituals, garden state, and profile information — is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

Sage & Seed is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

If we ever make meaningful changes to this policy we will notify you inside the app before the changes take effect. We will never quietly change how your data is used.
